SOUTH SEAS HOME LAUDED BY COUPLE

Land of Flowers and Dreams All That Newlyweds Had Expected, S.F. Visitors Say

They were mad, their friends said, those two youngsters who did not want to live as other people did. No‑they wanted to leave school and be married and go to live in the South Seas.

So they did.

"Our island of Moorea is glorious" cried the bright‑eyed girl who for two years now has been Mrs. Medford Kellum, wife of the son of M. R. Kellum, Honolulu multi‑millionaire merchant.  In their San Francisco hotel yesterday the two "mad youngsters" eagerly sang the praises of their island plantation.

"We live in a land of flowers and sun and white sand along a blue sea," cried Mrs. Kellum. "You who are so busy all the time cannot understand our days of swimming and sailing and singing, waiting for the crops to grow."

The Kellums are making a trip around the world with San Francisco as their first stopping and shopping place. They expect to visit Europe and return to Moorea by the end of the rainy season, and Mrs. Kellum is already eager for her orchids and hibiscus blossoms.

Honolulu Visitors Return Home on Private Yacht

Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Kellum of Honolulu and their two charming daughters, the Misses Lalah and Antoinette Kellum passed a number of enjoyable days in San Francisco as guests at the Fairmont Hotel. The two girls are of an exceptionally vivacious type.

The party is leaving today on their private yacht to return again to their home in Honolulu.
